Monty thinks Tyler is totally capable to doing math beyond what they are teaching in 1st grade so he often gives him some basic algebra problems. If Tyler gets them right he gets to play video games. Today I was going through some of the papers he brought home from school and this one caught my eye. The picture he choose to draw for Perseverance was rather unique. Monty is going to be so proud!!

That is one awesome report. And I'm so proud of Monty for expecting more from his children than what our school systems require -- and realizing that they can accomplish so much more if we just give them the opportunity. Now I'll step down from my soap box... but cheers to Tyler for his great accomplishment. Can he give Chloe a little pep talk for me? She could learn a thing or two about perseverance.
For a minute I thought that was what is being taught in school these days. If so then I will be in big trouble by the time Christian starts school. How fun!
