Sometimes I must admit my days seem to just recycle themselves. However, often there is a moment that makes me laugh and today was no exception! Today Kory was walking around the house with the Woody binoculars. I didn't think anything of it, but then he said, "Mom I look like WALL-E." He said it in the little robot voice like the character in the new upcoming Pixar movie. What was so funny was that he did!!:) As promised here is the Lego story! For about a week now the boys have been begging me to buy them the Lego Indiana Jones set. Well, if only life were that easy! So, we went on the Internet and looked up how much it cost and then I told them to go look in their piggy banks and count how much they had and we'd see how much they needed to earn. So, they actually had $42...$30 being from Tyler's birthday and $12 in coins. So, I told them they needed to earn another $5 to get what they wanted. It took them a few days and several tears, but finally they did enough around the house I thought they'd earned the $5--maybe I was a little easy on them, but they still worked. First we went and got all the coins changed into dollar bills so we didn't look like fools going into Target to buy their toy, and then we went to Target and they picked it out. They ended up picking one that was only $35 so they got money back! Kyle, Tyler and Kory have had so much fun with this lego set! They are always making scenes and cracking up at the people they hang upside down. I'm glad they got the experience of buying their own toy. Kyle keeps saying,"I can't wait for Tyler to loose another tooth so we can get more money to put in our piggy bank." No offers to do chores as of yet!:)
Speaking of shopping...this is my new purchase! I've been wanting a tankini for a long time because it just seems so much more convinient than a one piece, but still modest. Anyway, for our anniversary/birthday present this year Monty and I are going to Cancun, so I thought this would be the perfect time to look for a suit. I found one at Kohl's. It's pretty cute! Not cute enough to get a picture of it ON me...but cute enought to take a picture of!:)

You're such a good mom to make your kids work and earn money to buy their own toys. My kids think I'm evil, but I keep telling myself one of these days it will pay off. Sounds like your kids didn't take it too hard, so you're lucky!
I'm also very jealous of your trip to Cancun. You're swim suit looks so cute. Isn't that funny how the trip will be so much more fun just because you have something cute to wear? Have a great time!
