Quick Trip South

First off, Friday was mine and Monty's birthday. At 10:58 pacific time I made my yearly call to my brother! I always rag on him for being young and he rags on me for being old for three whole minutes! It's a fun tradition. I have an awesome twin brother!
Our celebration consisted of pretty much the normal daily routine, but we were able to go out to dinner to celebrate! Kory was on one that night, but we tried to make the best of it anyway. To ease my frustration I just ordered a Pike's Peek Chocolate Cake! It seemed to do the trick! I spent the afternoon with the younger boys making cards for Monty. Monty is now 32 and I'm 29!

Saturday after Monty got off work we drove down south for a QUICK visit. Today was Emjae's baby blessing. Unfortunately we couldn't stay long, but we knew we wanted to be there no matter what. She looked so beautiful in her little dress made by Monty's mother. I can't believe I forgot my camera! But the good news is that I remembered all the boys! James gave her a beautiful blessing. We were happy to make it. We got home at 4:50 and Monty had to be to work at 5:00, so just in time! The boys were happy to get home to their Lego's! I'll post about those tomorrow--it's a cute story!

Chocolate always does the trick for me too! Glad you had a good birthday.

You guys are so awesome for coming all the way down for a quick stop. And then for Monty to have to go straight to work...what a man! I hope he at least has tomorrow off to recover a bit! :)

Happy birthday again!
