Trey did a great job in the hike! He got a little grumpy towards the end, but overall he did amazing.
And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the son of God, that ye must build your foundation. Heleman 5:12

Only in Southern California!
Yesterday we took the boys on a hike in Rancho Cucamonga Canyon. The hike had some pretty fun spots...like this maze. The boys all made it to the end!We loved watching the boys work together and help one another across the various logs and rocks we needed to cross.Makai loved the hike. Thank goodness for a front pack. He didn't even know we were on a hike. Or he knew and wanted to just enjoy it in his own way...sleeping.We were surprised by how well Kory can balance. He kept up with the older boys with no problem. However, only in Southern California do you find this beautiful background on a hike! The nature was so beautiful, but the graffiti was ridiculous to say the least. I'm afraid all we could do was deal with it and accept it as art!

That's pretty crazy! The weather looks gorgeous, though. I keep thinking Spring is upon us, and then we have a day of snow like today. One of these days we'll be able to get out and enjoy nature. Tell Kory I love his sweatshirt!
Fun! I cant wait til we can do that. Julie would hate being in a pack and who knows if I would be able to balance like you. After 5 pregnancies though you got a handle on balancing with front loads :)
You remind me of a pioneer woman crossing that log and holding your baby. I am certain it wasn't as precarious as it looks in the picture though.
Love the "art"...seriously...who thinks to do that out in nature? Oh well.
That looks like such a fun maze. My girls would have LOVED it!
Fun activity!! I wonder though why would someone write graffiti at a beautiful park. To bad but the graffiti in the background looks pretty cool in the pictures:)
