Squid

I got a good laugh out of Trey today.  I was working with him on his shapes(starting to feel the pressure as we signed him up for Kindergarten a couple weeks ago).  Anyway, we were working on octagon and counting the sides when he screamed out..."Squid!"  What can I say, my kids love animals.  He has a point...a squid is similar to an octopus, so if we were talking animals he was close.  He loved that I was laughing, although I'm not sure he understood why. 

Later when we were working on numbers Makai picked up the 0 and said, "Oval".  Yeah Makai...maybe I won't be working on shapes with Makai only few months before Kindergarten.
