Monty took all 5 boys on the fathers and sons outing this weekend. The boys were so excited. I was happy that I didn't have to go when I saw the weather report. Needless to say it was a bit windy and wet. Monty said at one point the tent was blown totally flat! Anyway, they managed to have a good time despite the weather with only one mishap. Makai was so excited he was running everywhere and ran right into a table. Trey spent the entire morning talking to the cook and telling him that he was making his favorite--sausage. Trey was the only one that got teary eyed when he realized I wasn't going. I just stayed home and organized some things and watched three girl movies on Netflix. Relaxing and quiet. All the boys came home happy and smelly!:)

I think it was a women that came up with the idea for Fathers and Sons outings. I can't wait until we get a year when we aren't out of town for F&S. Brandon said he'd take the boys out on an over nighter to make it up to them...but WHEN is the question! I'd love to spend some girly time with my girls without a couple little boys wanting to get their nails painted too! Oh well. I am glad you boys had a good time, bad weather and scrapped up nose and all.
