Trey finally lost his first tooth! Our boys are so funny. None of them will wiggle a tooth. They just want it to magically fall out. Trey was no exception! He has complained for about two days saying it hurts to eat. This morning before school he wouldn't eat breakfast and was starting to get pretty frustrated. I knew it was because he was hungry, but he didn't want to eat because it hurt to eat. I didn't want to send him to school without eating and knowing he wouldn't eat lunch either. Thankfully, I convinced him to let me pull his tooth out. I LOVE to pull teeth out! He was so worried, but we just numbed the area and I pulled. Out it came. Here is his new smile!

So this is how sleepy I am right now: when I saw your title of "First Tooth!" I sat here trying to figure out which of your kids would be at the age to be getting their first tooth. Oh boy -- and I just had a nap!
My kids also think their teeth will magically fall out. They sit in there, dangling forever! Yesterday we went to the dentist and he pointed out one of Sophie's loose teeth. He told me he could just pull it. I said "go ahead." Sophie was upset with me, she wanted to do it, but I told her she takes forever.
Trey is looking so grown up.
I love to pull teeth too! My kids prefer having me pull them...maybe because my fingers are much smaller and less hairy than their dads? I still bribe them with $2...just to make it fun. :) You are a nice mom to numb the area!
