And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the son of God, that ye must build your foundation. Heleman 5:12

Thanks Guys!
These beautiful flowers were sent to me today by my amazing brothers! Erik, Ryan, Dustin, Greg and Andy. When I opened them I have to admit you guys that I cried. That was very sweet of you and I'll remember it forever! They are two of my favorite flowers--roses and lilies! They smell amazing and made me feel very love! Thanks for being the most amazing brothers ever. I was talking with someone a few months ago and when they found out I had brothers they said, "Oh, so you had a lot of pranks pulled on you, right." I said, "No, I have great brothers. They always treated me with respect. I'm pretty lucky!" I love you guys. You made my day!

Cinco!
Trey is officially the big 05!! He was super excited for him birthday this year. When we talked about his cake he knew exactly what he wanted. A cake with strawberries, blue berries, and jelly beans. Well, I got strawberries, black berries, (and forgot the jelly beans:)! He wanted Green Frosting and green candles. He also choose Lasagna for dinner. We let him go to the store and pick out his own presents this year. It was fun for him. He got a transformer(which him and Makai have fought over ever since), a double bladed light saber he got a Captain America from Mammy and a strippling warrior. Some things I love about Trey are his prayers. They are getting really sweet and really thoughtful. Occasionally we have to stop him because well...we are hungry and he's praying for world peace. He also gave his first talk in primary. It was on the Holy Ghost and he helped write it. He did a great job! Trey is also very excited about starting school this year. Often he prays that he can start Kindergarten. We love you Trey!!

Oh Nose!!
Monty took all 5 boys on the fathers and sons outing this weekend. The boys were so excited. I was happy that I didn't have to go when I saw the weather report. Needless to say it was a bit windy and wet. Monty said at one point the tent was blown totally flat! Anyway, they managed to have a good time despite the weather with only one mishap. Makai was so excited he was running everywhere and ran right into a table. Trey spent the entire morning talking to the cook and telling him that he was making his favorite--sausage. Trey was the only one that got teary eyed when he realized I wasn't going. I just stayed home and organized some things and watched three girl movies on Netflix. Relaxing and quiet. All the boys came home happy and smelly!:)

CHEESE
Makai loves the camera. Whenever he sees the camera he says Cheese!!CHEESE!!CHEESE!! Until you take a picture of him. He does that with most everything actually...repeats and repeats what he wants till he gets it. He is growing up. We moved him to a big boy bed after he started crawling out of crib. He loves his bed, but many morning I find him curled up with Kyle in his bed and he loves sleeping with him as well. The only down side is he's not into napping in his bed. However, if I put him in the car or stroller at the right time of day he'll still nap for me. He's also showing signs of wanting to be potty trained. He's been saying things like, "Need a toilet!" If I put him on it he'll use it. I'm just not ready to officially train him. Maybe I'll pray Tyler to do it this summer!
Scouts
Kyle earned his Wolf Badge back in Jan I think.:) He was born to be a scout.
Tyler also earned his Arrow of light. Monty is the Cub Scout Master and his assistant cub scout master loves to put together fun arrow of light ceremonies.
Tyler loved getting to shoot the arrow. A memorable night for him.

Animals!
Although with that title you'd think I was going to write about my OWN animals, instead I wanted to do a post about the animals we've seen recently while out and about. When we see these animals in the wild you should hear our car. Everyone loves it.
Another day in Estes Park Kyle was saying, "I hope we see something amazing!!" I am always kind of scared when he says that because I don't want him to be disappointed if we don't. He loves nature. Well, to his good luck we did see a wild turkey! How that guy survived the winter in Rocky Mountain national park is beyond me. We totally were not expecting that. (We didn't get a picture of him.) Further down the road we did spot some Elk however.
I could also add this which I found in our backyard while playing with Makai and Trey earlier this week. Thankfully he was dead. I think he chocked on something.
| We have always wanted to see a big horn sheep. While driving home from Waldon Colorado Monty spotted a whole family of big horn sheep. |

| This Elk along with about 3 more were just grazing off the side of the road. We stopped, pulled up right next to the guy and just watched him for a while. He didn't mind the attention one bit. |

Saint Patrick's Day Parade
A friend of ours is running for Senate. For the Saint Patrick's Day parade here in town she asked if anyone would be willing to march with her. Tyler, Kyle, Makai and I did. The boys looked so handsome. They were a little nervous, but enjoyed it. Now they can say they'd marched in a parade. It was a fun way to spend the morning.
