Today couldn't have gone better for the boys. It started off with taking Tyler to school at 8:00. I walked him to his classroom(he even let me hold his hand) and he went right in and sat in his chair. After school he said it was, "GREAT!" I'm so glad you had a great day of 2nd grade Ty!! Two hours later it was finally Kyle's turn to go to school! I think it was the longest two hours of his life! He kept asking..."Is it time yet?" Finally it was time and while walking up to his classroom he said, "Mom, I can't believe it's my first day of school." While finding where to put his backpack there was an unplanned fire drill. His poor teacher! As if it wasn't crazy enough trying to put faces with names and parents she got a fire drill. Trey, Kory and I walked out with him and his class along with a lot of other parents who still had to give his teacher some info. Kyle looked a little confused, so I was glad I was there to explain that wasn't going to happen everyday. (Just until the office figures out the bell system!) After school Kyle was all smiles! "Mom, I loved everything about today!" YEAH KYLE!! You're a KINDERGARTNER!!:)
After dropping off Kyle, Trey fell to sleep so it was just me and Kory! I must say that was really fun. We worked on a few preschool things and had a nice lunch together! I taught him how to make an orange smile! You know, all those fun things kids learn at preschool. Thanks for the date Kory...lets plan another--tomorrow!:)

So....Tyler and Kory don't go to school at the same time? What a pain for you! I am SO glad their first day went good....even with a fire drill!
Kaitlyn rode the bus to morning kindergarten for the first time today...it comes at 7:26...I had bearly finished her hair and shoved her out the door telling her to hurry and get on the bus only to realize that it was sprinkleing and she had no jacket on and was wearing flip flops. I am feeling like the worse mom ever today...(and it's only 8:30 a.m.!)
Opps...didn't mean to say Kory...I meant Kyle!
I can't believe how fast they are growing up! I bet you can't either. I'm glad that the first day went so well, I can't even imagine what that will be like. I think I will be a mess because I think Christian ia a little more like Tyler in the shy department. :)
What handsome boys. You are all getting soooo big. Kyle looks like a 2nd grader, Tyler looks like a 4th grader, and Kory looks like he has orange teeth! hmmmmm, oranges and hotdogs.
I relate to your schedule. When The day is through I've made 3 trips to the school, with two different drop off times and luckily same pickup. It isn't to bad though and fun to have some alone time with Luke. I can't believe how fast these kids are growing up. Little Tyler and LIndsay were just babies in strollers on those windy walks we used to go on.
How horrible to have a fire drill on the first day -- like it's not already hectic enough! Gotta keep those teachers on their toes, though, and I'm glad everyone had such a great day. I want to come to your preschool! Kory's going to have a blast with you -- the greatest teacher he'll ever have.
Your boys are so handsome! I can't believe Kyle is in kindergarten. I am gonna just fall apart when Samantha is old enough. I told Stephan the other day I wish we lived by you guys! I want Samantha to marry one of your boys. Such a great family!!!
