We didn't waist anytime this year getting a tree. The day after Thanksgiving we were driving around and decided to get a tree. Each year the boys take turns putting the topper on the tree. This year was Trey's year!! 
This year however our tree is a little different! We decided to get a Charlie Brown tree, or what I call a Charlie Brown tree. When we got to the farm I asked the boys if they wanted to get a small tree just for fun. We've gotten big trees in the past why not try a small tree. Everyone was on board with the idea except Tyler. He wanted a big tree(sorry Ty). Tyler was worried it wouldn't take long to decorate, but that was solved when the tree fell over as we were moving it after decorating it and we got to start all over!;) After decorating it a second time Tyler declared that he liked the tree. 
One of the main reasons I like the tree is it's out of this little mans reach! He want crazy while we were decorating. I think every ornament when into his mouth before it went onto the tree! 
And I've gotta mention this little "Elk". Kyle, Kory and Trey were playing 'Elf" on Saturday and Trey's been walking around since then being Santa's little "Elk"(someone corrected him so now he says 'elf', but I thought it was cute when he was calling himself an 'elk'.) He has a pillowcase full of toys and is enjoying the holiday season.
