Trey turned 9 this week. Lucky for him it was the first day of Summer Vacation! He didn't want to have cake for his birthday this year. Instead he wanted Hamburgers and Milk Shakes! I will say the Milkshake was a welcomed treat. For his birthday he picked out his own gifts. A scope for his rubber band gun he got last year at Mount Rushmore, A video game from Game stop, a Miami Dolphins watch, and of course no birthday is complete without a LEGO set.
We can't believe this boy is 9! He is doing well. He is such a good singer! I love to hear him sing. Often Kyle or Tyler will play the ukulele and Trey will sing. He has a very good ear for singing and is great at memorizing words to songs. He is very passionate about his ideas. If he believes something he sticks to it!! We are blessed to have him. He shares a room with Makai and is a good brother. Each morning when I go to wake them up Makai has crawled up into Trey's bed at some point during the night. Although he doesn't love it, Trey is a good sport about it. Thanks Trey for your kindness! Happy 9th Birthday!!
And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the son of God, that ye must build your foundation. Heleman 5:12

Kindergarten Graduation
Makai is done with Kindergarten! He had a pretty awesome Kindergarten year. His teacher, Mrs. Brockhous is the best Kindergarten teacher ever! I was so impressed with her and all she did to make learning fun and exciting for these kids. Everything from a rocket ship in the classroom to pirate ship adventures. She even invited the K-Kids and their families over to her house at the end of the year for an ice cream celebration. I feel that Makai having her as a teaching was such a great blessing. It made him entering Kindergarten a lot less difficult. Some people just have gifts, and she has a gift of teaching. We need more teachers like her.
