New Carpet

When we moved into our house two and a half years ago I knew I wanted new carpet.  The family before us had a do and despite cleaning it, it always smelt a little like dog to me.  After selling our Fort Collins home we decided to get new Carpet!!  

I couldn't be happier!!  So fresh!!!! 

Staph

I'm not a doctor person.  I always kinda feel like our bodies can fight off infection and there is nothing a little Hydrogen Peroxide can't fix.  Kyle scraped his knee in football a few weeks past and his knee has had a little trouble healing.  I honestly thought he was just being a little wimpy as he told me his knee was hurting more and more instead of less and less.  One Sunday after church he said, "Mom, my knee feels hot.  Feel it."  I told him to come on over and sure enough his knee felt hot.  I started telling Monty what it looked like and he said, "He's got a staph infection.  That's serious.  He needs antibiotics."  Spoken like a true med-student.  He took him to the doctor and he was right.  It was staph.  Hydrogen Peroxide was NOT the fix!!

First Day of School

Kory and Trey--my middle school buddies!  Kory starting 8th grade.  Trey starting 6th!!  I enjoying seeing them whenever they come to see me in the library!

Makai is our only kid in elementary.  First day of 3rd grade with Mrs. Lewis.

Tyler and Kyle had late start.  When we left for school Kyle was just waking up!  Sophomore year.  

Tyler was busy reading the book he was suppose to read over the summer that he was only half way threw.  He was pretty excited when he got to school and found out his teacher hadn't even finished the book!  Senior year--here we come.  Senioritous started before his Senior year even started.  

Big FOOT!!!

Makai is 8 and Makai is huge.  Today we went to take him to get some new shoes and that is when I realized just how big he was.  His feet are bigger than mine!!  How did this happen??!!  How can he be bigger than me at 8??  Not sure, but the picture is proof!!  I love that Trey is cleaning his toe nails!  So satisfying he says!
